In April my art and I will be teaming up with the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation to raise money for the division of Pediatric Nephrology. Below you will find all the details along with how you could win one of my framed photographs shown in this blog :)

1 in 10 Canadians will be affected by some form of kidney disease. A child with chronic kidney disease may also have a spectrum of problems which includes impaired growth, learning and physical & social development. Currently, there is no cure for chronic kidney disease and it does not discriminate against age, gender or size. With the proper medical care, follow-up, and education we help our young patients become their own champions and let kids do what they do best: learn, play and grow. The Pediatric Nephrology team of the Montreal Children's Hospital has supported children with kidney diseases since over 50 years, focusing on caring, research, outreach and innovation. That is why we are lacing up our running shoes for the 5K Scotia Bank Charity Run on April 22, 2017. With the help of the Montreal Children's Hospital Foundation (MCHF), 100% of the donations collected on our team page will go directly to our mission of helping and educating children and their families with kidney diseases.
